Don’t judge a book by it’s cover…

Heyy guys (thank you for all the likes and comments on my previous post),

Today, I decided to use the title don’t judge a book by it’s cover … the same goes with people, (my mum used to say this to me a lot when I was younger – she used to get a post-it-note with this written on it and leave it at the front door each day before I left for school).

My appearance is something I believe is quite important (I mean its the first thing people see before they get to know you, 1st impressions count!), I used to get soo hung-up over this, not willing to answer the door until my hair was straightened, having to own branded things and also feeling the need to have some make-up on when I was outside the safety of my front door.

But a while ago, I realised none of this matters, (I almost don’t even recognise myself now), if people truly love you, they love you for what’s on the inside not on the outside. So when the door bell rang a few seconds ago, I answered it with my pj’s on, my boyfriend walked in just mentioning how cute I looked (this makes my heart melt btw), but my message for you guys today is be yourself…

There is no better version, I love you guys for who you are and I’m sure your friends and family do to.
